• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous data on how you interact with the App (e.g., which magazine issue is currently open) to ensure features like audio synchronization work correctly.

• Crash Logs: If the App malfunctions, we collect anonymous crash reports (via Google Play or Firebase) to help us fix the bug.

2. CAMERA USAGE AND COMPUTER VISION

Our App requires access to your device’s camera to function as intended (e.g., to scan physical pages or posters and trigger synchronized audio).

• Ephemeral Processing: The camera is used strictly for real-time computer vision. We process the visual data locally on your device to recognize the image target.

• No Recording or Storage: We do not record, save, transmit, or store any video or images from your camera. The live video stream is processed in your device's memory (RAM) and is discarded immediately after the recognition is complete.

• Permissions: We will ask for your explicit permission to access the camera. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, though this will disable the scanning feature.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Subscription Management: To validate your subscription status through Google Play Billing and restore your purchases if you switch devices.

• App Functionality: To deliver the correct audio content synchronized with the magazine issue you are viewing.

• Improvement: To analyze crash trends and improve app stability.

4. PAYMENT INFORMATION

All purchases (subscriptions or single issues) are processed directly through Google Play Billing.

• We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers or billing address.

• All payment transactions are handled securely by Google. Google’s use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use standard mobile identifiers (like the Android ID) strictly for:

• Maintaining your "Restore Purchase" state so you don't lose access to content you paid for.

• Basic analytics to understand how many users are reading specific issues.

We may use third-party Service Providers to help us operate the App. These parties have access to your data only to perform specific tasks on our behalf.
